My name is Tony Leftwich, and I founded Roaming Renovations in 2019 after relocating from Montana to Texas. Before that move, I spent nine years working in Yellowstone National Park, where I had the unique opportunity to build two Yellowstone stagecoaches. It was meaningful work, and knowing those pieces will be enjoyed by visitors for years to come is something I’m truly proud of.

Construction has been part of my life from the beginning. I was born and raised in the trade, learning brickwork at a young age from my father who was a brick mason in Virginia. As an adult, I spent ten years in Jacksonville, Florida, running my own construction business. During that time, my work included framing homes and installing hurricane rods, giving me a strong foundation in structural and detailed work alike.

Over the years, I’ve built log homes, completed conventional framing, and specialized in custom woodworking.

That range of experience has given me a versatile skill set and the ability to take on a wide variety of projects, from small repairs and trim work to custom builds and light remodels.

I enjoy working with my hands and welcome a good challenge. Every project is an opportunity to learn, grow, and deliver something well-built. I work closely with my clients to bring their ideas to life and create spaces they truly enjoy. My goal is simple: complete satisfaction and a finished project we can all be proud of.

You’ll often see my wife, Deja, on the job site with me. We met in 2010 while working in Yellowstone National Park and later decided to move back to her hometown of Georgetown, Texas, in 2018. When I’m not working, I enjoy fishing and hiking. In 2023, we sold our home outside of Georgetown and spent the year traveling across the U.S. in our RV, searching for the next place to call home.
